Note: Several members of the Organising Committee stayed in this hotel during the winter month. It has a good bar up stairs and rooms offer good views (see the photo in the upper right hand corner). Although the room rates are on the high side, people enjoyed staying there.

Note: Several members of the Organising Committee have stayed in this hotel. The history of hotel dates back to May 1909. Before the October Revolution in 1917, it was the most prestigious hotel in the city. A fire in 1989 partially destroyed the interior. Based on the original drawing, the hotel was restored into its formal beauty in 1992.

The hotel  is very central and there is a very good canteen just across the road. Delegates can walk to the conference venue (see the photo in the lower right hand corner). The internet access is provided free of charge and staff members working there are very friendly. The room rates are high, however, if you can afford it, it is a good place to stay.

Hotel Equator

The hotel is located in the heart of Vladivostok within a walking distance of main museums, art galleries, concert halls, historical monuments, shopping malls, casinos and numerous restaurants. (see the map) Being situated on top of a hill, Equator opens a marvellous view of the bay to its guests. When the weather is nice, our guests like to take walks along a local beach, which is just 5 minutes away.
