Important information: To enter Russia Federation, one must have a valid visa. You can choose to get a tourist visa or a business visa.  In either case, you need a letter of invitation. A tourist visa may take up to 20 days to arrange and a business visa takes up to 3 months.  Information can be found at the Russian Consulate, Sydney website, click here. You need to check the Russian Consulate located in your own country.

The Organising Committee has appointed the Travel Agency "FregatAero" to provide tourist visa support, Tatyana Osokina will help you to organise this for you. The Travel Agency will charge $30 USD to provide the letter of invitation (also called tourist confirmation letter or "Podtverzdeniye") which must be submitted when you apply for the Russian tourist visa at a Russian Consulate.

You must send the following information to Tatyana Osokina:

1. Copy of your passport
2. To what of Russian Consulate are you going to apply for a visa.
3. Planned route (for example, Moscow-Vladivostok)
4. Date of arrival and departure


A foreigner travelling to Russia should have a valid passport (expiry date should be longer than 6 months from the date of visitor's departure from Russia).
