Call for Papers
The purpose of GameScope2011 is to provide a platform for professionals, academics and practitioners
in Game Technology to meet, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks.
It is a forum to focus on specific disciplinary research, as well as on multi-disciplinary
studies. The uniqueness of GameScope2009 is that it brings together researchers,
developers, marketers and players from not only technical areas, but also from areas which use the technology such
as the retail sales and publishing markets.
Papers are sought which can contribute to any of these related areas. They may be of traditional academic
form or in report or experience form. All submissions will be full paper peer reviewed taking into
account their purpose and target audience.

- Game publishing experiences
- Current techniques in game software design and implementation
- Game porting and re-engineering; theory and practice
- Game marketing and promotion
- Game development education and training
- Work placement, industry experience, assessment and promotion
- The needs and experiences of business in recruitment and retention of staff
- Contrasting national game development settings
- Social and psychological issues explored in game play
- Game engine design, usage, sharing and building
- Propriety, IP and legal issues of game techniques and assets
- Future game design and implementation issues
- China and the world game development horizon
Business, Commercial and Industry delegates are welcome with or without a presentation.
